I work in the towns of Harwich, Chatham, Brewster, and East Orleans. I was born and raised here on the Cape, and feel incredibly lucky to live and work in such a beautiful, close-knit community. Tails of Cod has been my full-time business since I established it in 2017, and it’s truly a labor of love.
A big inspiration behind my work is my own dog, Tut - a loyal and goofy German Shepherd who has taught me so much about patience, communication, and the deep bond we share with our dogs (and in his case...a bond with pinecones). Tut is not just my companion, he’s a constant reminder of why I do what I do. The care, respect, and attention I give to him is the same standard I bring to every dog I work with.
I specialize in structured group walks where dogs can release their energy in a constructive, safe, and enriching environment. Each walk is thoughtfully planned to encourage calm, focused behavior and positive socialization. Along the way, we incorporate the practice of basic commands like sit, stay, recall, and loose-leash walking, helping to reinforce good manners and responsiveness. These sessions offer not only physical exercise, but also essential mental stimulation that keeps your dog engaged and balanced. Whether your dog needs to burn off extra energy, improve social skills, or simply enjoy a fulfilling outdoor experience, my walks are designed to support their overall well-being.

Life’s just better with dogs—messier, sillier, and way more meaningful. Tut, my goofy German Shepherd, has completely reshaped how I see the world. He reminds me to live in the moment, greet each day with excitement, and never pass up the chance for a good hike (or a muddy puddle). Dogs have this magical ability to make our lives fuller just by being themselves, and at Tails of Cod, we believe every pet should be treated like the joy-filled, tail-wagging life-changer they are.

Tut is my lovable German Shepherd and the heart of Tails of Cod. With his goofy grin, big personality, and endless love for pack hikes, he reminds us every day why we do what we do. Tut is more than a pet—he's family, a best friend, and a daily reminder that our animals deserve to be treated like the angels they are. Whether he's chasing a pinecone or hunting down a shell, Tut brings joy to every trail (and tail!) he meets.
